I GIve Up, Parking

Well, it's friday and you would think everyone would be going home or not going to class. I'm wrong, the parking lot is still filled. I went over again this morning and tried to find a spot, but as usual its packed. There were maybe three spots open and by the time I got over to them two were taking. I finally got a spot, but it was in the middle of no man's land. I decided today that I'm either going to have to leave my apartment really early or I'm just going to do it the old fashion way and walk. Hopefully, people will stop driving and I can get a spot or the school will figure out we need more spots and make a new parking lot. I think the best idea is to let the school build a parking lot somewhere.

Morning Traffic

This morning I took my girlfriend to Sheetz and I saw traffic jam! A traffic jam in Slippery Rock! I was astonished at the sight. There was literally 20 cars in a row beside Sheetz on the main road. After I saw that I went around Slippery Rock the opposite way to get back to my apartment. Then, I drove up the parking lot and yes there were a couple of parking spots open, but not a lot. It got me to think as well. I thought, where do all of the commuters park if there are no spots? Those commuters I guess are out of luck and wait on a spot. I never thought why anyone could be late for class and now I understand. Good luck to all of those commuters and I hope you get a spot!

There is Parking

Today, I actually found a spot. The bad news was that it took me about 15 minutes to find one. All I wanted to do today was go grab something to eat during my break and I wanted to make it fast. Well, the fast part did not happen for me. I drove around and around until there was an actually spot open. The funny thing was that when I came out from eating someone was waiting for my spot. I look around everyday and see that once someone pulls out of a spot someone else is there to snatch it up. Doesn't this say something about the parking. There is not enough parking spots.

Parking, Parking everywhere but no where to Park

This year is my first year I decided to bring a car to campus. I was excited until I found out how hard it was to park on SRU. There is literally no where to park, everyone and anyone fills the lots up. I drove over to campus this morning to go to the library and I drove around for at least 20 minutes trying to find a spot. After i saw that i was driving for that long I gave up, drove back to my apartment andwalked to the library. I have been to other campuses, but I think SRU is the worst when it comes to parking.
